Our Pre-Drywall Consultation assesses the condition of your new property’s major systems—Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, Electrical, Weather Barrier, and Structure—before they are concealed behind sheetrock and other finishing installations. Common issues detected include cracked or warped framing, damaged or crimped ductwork, improper notching of floor joists, and inadequate fire stop material between floors. Identifying these issues before the installation of finishes is crucial, as they become challenging and expensive to repair once concealed behind drywall and other materials.
This is the second of our new property phase inspections, which occur at predetermined times in the construction process; other phase inspections include our New Construction Foundation Consultation and Final Inspection.
